Hey, I’m Tiyris (Giuseppe Taormina), a professional session guitarist and guitar coach based in Graz, Austria, originally from Italy. I’ve spent my career building a reputation as a reliable, versatile player who can deliver tight, studio-grade precision whether I'm tracking a record or playing on a massive festival stage.
My background is a mix of hard work on the road and multiples degrees in music. Because of that foundation, I pride myself on being completely adaptable. My roots are firmly in rock and metal, but I’m comfortable playing anything—from acoustic arrangements and blues, jazz to fast, progressive and extreme metal.
As a touring session musician, I’ve been lucky enough to play all over the world, including legendary festival stages like Wacken Open Air, Graspop and Hellfest Open Air.
Over the years, I’ve handled live guitars and studio tracking for international acts like Ellende, Tryglav, Crystal Viper, Metalucifer and Leatherwitch.
When I’m not on tour or in the studio, I run a global coaching program. I combine my pedagogical and academic background with real-world touring experience to helping them master advanced shred mechanics, break through technical plateaus, and unlock their full potential on the fretboard.without wasting time.
I am proudly endorsed by ESP Guitars and Gator Cases.
